Hotel “Gli Orzali” is situated in the Tusco-Emilian Apennines, in the heart of Italy, in the district of Firenzuola (Province of Florence), around 56 km from Bologna and 50 km from Florence.
The present-day hotel complex was built at a height of 540m above sea-level, surrounded by mountains exceeding 1.000m above sea-level. At a distance of around 1.900m, the centre of Firenzuola is within easy walking distance.
The surrounding area is especially suited for an all-out restful holiday, as well as providing the possibility for relaxing hikes, horse and mountain-bike riding, fishing and hunting.
Hotel “Gli Orzali” is comprised of three buildings, originally employed as follows: a farmhouse dating back to the XVIII century with living space on the upper floors and the lower floors being set aside for stables and storage sheds; a stable and barn built in 1939 as per the date inscribed on the main fa็ade; and finally a small building being a former pigsty, dating back to the beginning of the nineteen hundreds.
The hospitality area is comprised of: one entrance/waiting room, nine double rooms and a suite in the former stable and barn building; six 50/60sqm apartments, with independent entrance in the former farmhouse; one apartment in the former pigsty.
