Mulazzo small village, rises over an hill on the right low of Magra, it has an important role in the history of Lunigiana.
It has preserved its original structure which is characterized by narrow alleys, two doors of access and from the most ancient castle of which only the Dante tower has remained.
It was one of the most important and ancient feuds which were of the Marquises Malaspina dello Spino Secco family, and here, they lodged the poet Dante Alighieri during his stay in Val di Magra.
