| The farmhouse Podere Santa Lucia is a lovely 15th century country house. Its three flats have been furnished with ancient hand- made pieces. Floors and ceilings are original, just as the fireplace, which is typical of the old farmhouses. A close atmosphere characterizes the simple and genuine ambient, designed for relaxing in body and mind. The village is reached several times a day by public buses, connecting the small hamlet of Santa Lucia to San Gimignano, Poggibonsi, Volterra. An extraordinary variety of plants makes suggestive places in a delightful tranquil garden. The farmhouse is a part of an agricultural farm where vine and olive threes are cultivated. Podere Santa Lucia is situated in the heart of the beautiful country of Toscana, less than 1 mile from San Gimignano, in a small village, crossed by a short tract of old Via Francigena. Not too far there is an outdoor town swimming- pool. For the beauties of countryside and nature, it is possible to go on lovely excursions through vines and olive threes, and its as well a peculiar area especially for walking, sightseeing tours or cycle rides. | The countryhouse Podere Santa Lucia offers three flats restored with refined taste and furnished in rustic style. IL PRATO (2+2 persons) Set on the ground floor of the house, it has been restored with hand-made pieces in absolute respect of a country house style. It offers a wide living room with a fireplace, a double bedroom, a bathroom, a small kitchen. On request, it's possible to add 2 single beds. IL GIRASOLE (4 persons) Set at the first floor, totally original design, it is the only flat with the original old large fireplace, quite different from the usual fireplaces, much smaller. It offers a wide living room , two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. IL FIORDALISO (4 persons max) Set at the second floor, it is more like an Alpin confortable hut. From its windows you can admire the towers of San Gimignano. It offers a wide living room with fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin-beds-room.
