La Torricella is borned from restoration of a part of a privat villa, and that it was already existing untill 1400 as a "Guard Tower".
The warming atmosphere and the comfort are that of a privat house, where the landlady attend herself at the guests, with plentiful breakfast on buffet, with home made cakes and local products; lessons in how to cook Tuscan recipes are also offered as well as the fun of eating togheter what was prepared during the lessons.
The structure is located in a panoramic site, infact it is on a small hill that overlooks the valley of river Ema and this position offers a dominating view of the surrounding country-side. All this caracteristics make La Torricella a romantic and peaceful place suitable also for newly married couple for spending their honey moon.
At the same time La Torricella is located near Florence, it is only 5 km away from the city center and that makes it a usefull base for starting to the discovery of the tresures of the city. Fhutermore the hotel is at only 500 mt from bus-stop and 10 km from airport; besides as La Torricella is placed near one of the most beautiful golf cources in Italy, it is also possible to pass a relaxing day playing the game of golf.
All our rooms have private bathroom with hairdryer, TV satellite, safe and phone.
