If you want to experience peacefulness and simplicity, take the road, in the green, leading to Gignano, a little ancient small village on a hill, at the end of which there is a house, surrounded by the olive trees and the wood, where you can find accommodation.

In this still unpolluted environment you can relax and be regenerated, discovering the ancient relations with nature.

During summer the breakfast is served under the shelter overlooking the wood, from the top of which it is possible to watch the flight of the buzzard. From this place you can reach different resorts: Lerici, Portovenere, the Cinque Terre (Italian for Five Lands), the so many ancient Castles of Lunigiana area, Carrara quarries and Versilia coast.

How to arrive:
from motorway A12 go out at exit Sarzana, drive on the Variante Aurelia road direction Carrara, after about 2km turn left direction Fosdinovo. After driving for about 300m turn right (at Borghetto street) and after 100m take Montecchio street (the first street on the left).
Once you are at Caprignano street turn left, once you have reached Caprognano village turn right, direction Gignano village.
