Within the oldest part of the historical centre of San Quirico d'Orcia, near the main square and the most important monuments of the town, we find "La Dimora del Poeta". It looks onto the main street, the old route of the Via Francigena, it is a few steps from the XIV century old "Grancia" (fortified castle) of Santa Maria della Scala and the Romanesque church of Santa Maria ad Hortos.
It is a typical Tuscan house with tile floors and original wooden beams, it it furnished in a good and distintive taste. There are four rooms and a shared room used for kitchen-living room. At the first floor there are the "Margherita" and the "Girasole" room. At the second floor, with the "Papavero" room, there is te shared room with the necessary for the breakfast and the cooking. At the third floor is collocated our fourth room: "Il Glicine".
MARGHERITA
On the first floor. Double room with tv, bathroom with shower. The room distinguishes for its pink colour which harmoniously matches with the curtains and the bedspread.
GIRASOLE
On the first floor. Double room with tv, bathroom with shower. The leading colour is yellow: yellow are the curtains, the bedspread and the finely decorated walls.
PAPAVERO
On the second floor. Double room with tv, bathroom with shower. The room distinguishes for the red colour which harmoniously matches the finely decorated walls with the bedspread and the curtains.
IL GLICINE
On the third floor. A very large double/triple room with tv, bathroom with shower. Here it prevails the light blue of the decorations, the curtains and the bedspread. From the window, overlooking the roofs of the historical centre, it is possible to see the many centuries old tree- tops of the park (Horti Leonini).

Our rates can change by the seasons and the number of persons.
In low season the fare is fixed between the 55 and the 70 euros.
In high season between the 58 and 75 euros.
All prices are inclusive of night's passing, the breakfast and the use of the shared kitchen for the entire journey.
All prices are for room per day.
Must be deposited the 30 percent of the entire cost at the reservation.
