Il casale La Luminsosa stands amongst the cropped hills cultivated with vineyards and olives, with open views and panoramas where you could almost stay the whole day meditating and doing nothing…….. With its simple lines and traditional almonds, it is the Tuscan hamlet that we have dreamed about for such a long time when, worn out from the rhythms of the city we wanted to passionately rethink about our lives and about our habitat among the beautiful Tuscan hills. We have carefully reconstructed it respecting the local style of the old houses in the countryside, recovering the stones for the barn, old mizzen for the almonds, joists for the floors and the old mizzen for the pavements.
Today la Luminosa is our house and it is a great pleasure to offer hospitality to people who like us in the past are looking for a quiet place in contact with nature, in an environment capable of bringing to our minds a simple and comfortable atmosphere of an old house in the countryside, we are opening both romantic studio flats in the annexe of the hamlet.
Both studio flats are made up of a large bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe (possibility to add another kid’s bed), a mini brickwork kitchen with an old shelf, a corner dining room, a bathroom with a glass box shower and an 18 inch TV. The French window of both studio flats opens onto the property grounds and the glance of the beautiful and light view on the hills and on the valley. An iron table and deckchair is also available for guests.
Just a few minutes from the Casale La Luminosa it is possible to visit many historical houses half a holiday village of the old middle classes from Lucca (Villa Torrigiani, Villa Mansi, Villa Oliva, Villa Reale), collodians with its famous Pinocchio Park and the city of Lucca which can be found in just 10minutes by car Other famous cities and Tuscan areas are reachable from the Casale La Luminosa in a very short period of time, offering on the other hand the possibility enjoy th streets and the typical scenery of Typical Tuscany: Pisa is 20 minutes away, Florence 45minutes away San Gimignano and San Miniato less than an hour away and Siena and Volterra around and an hour and half away.
What we are offering today as hospitality is what we would have wanted to find a few years ago when we used to visit this area in search of a romantic angle and local taste where we are able to revive ourselves combining relaxation and round trips. Come and visit us because we believe we can offer you something simple and splendid.
