Paoli Rosa is a Tuscan firm situated near the city of Pescia, with its long tradition of paper making. In fact, "straw paper" was borne here in 1800. The master papermakers used a unique mixture of straw and lime that was able to maintain its warm and strong yellow colour long after drying.
Here in Pescia our family began its papermaking industry in 1859, firts producing "straw paper" and then other paper products. These paper packaging products have always been produced with ecological materials such as recycled paper.
In this fashion, our firm has become an important element in the domestic market, contributing to the development of this sector and conferming our original production choices. In 1968, our company made a courageous and insightful transformation by deciding to concetrate on a sector wich was developing rapidly at the time: " tissue products".
