The ‘Casale dell’Orso’ is situated 0,62 miles from the town centre of Pistoia, set in an area extremely rich in culture, history and amazing natural scenery. It is ideally located for visiting several major Tuscan art sites, and, being surrounded by stunningly beautiful countryside, is ideally located for discovering the less famous Tuscany, characterised by quaint villages and picturesque country churches.
Art, medieval villages, a stunning undulating landscape covered with vineyards and olive trees… enjoy an unusual and memorable holiday in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The ‘Casale dell’Orso’ is set in the heart of a 61 acres working nursery with many years history of plant growing. Our guests now have the opportunity to experience a wide range of growing techniques, thereby broadening their gardening knowledge, whilst also enjoying the hospitality of our Country Hotel.

A welcoming and friendly atmosphere is typical for the Tuscan people, and hospitality has always been a priority. As soon as you enter ‘Casale dell’Orso’ you will feel the charm of this famous Tuscan hospitality. Following our recent complete and sympathetic restoration of the Casale, you will find striking public areas and charmingly redesigned bedrooms and bathrooms. In keeping with our horticultural heritage, the nine bedrooms have been given the names of flowers, and like our public areas they provide many comforts.
We offer a warm informal Country Hotel atmosphere where guests can enjoy a large garden with a swimming-pool, or relax with a book in the whirl pool whilst the children play safely.
All rooms have every modern facility including bathroom, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, satellite television, telephone and internet connection (wired-RJ45). Outside there is a parking area, swimming pool, whirl-pool, barbecue and established garden. Small to medium sized pets are welcome.
