La Lodola farmhouse is an ancient farmhouse of the IXth century completely restored by its present owners, who have divided it into 7 wonderful holiday apartments dedicated to very charming guests. Each apartment has got a lot of details, such as decorations on the walls and ancient furniture. A big fireplace has been realized almost in every living-room and this creates a very unique and really comfortable atmosphere.
Each apartment has been provided with dishwasher, satellite-aerial, autonomous heating, two bathrooms with shower. Each apartment has got also its own outdoor area to have a lunch or a break there. In La Lodola farmhouse the guest's holiday enjoys reserve, relax and comfort, plunging into an absolutely bucolic environment. The oval swimming-pool (about 110 sq metres) with its wide sun- parlour is situated in the big surrounding park (about 3 acres ).
The farmhouse is on the magnificent tableland “Le Chiarne”, the heart of “Crete Senesi” and it is only 7 kms away from the artistic village of Asciano (Siena) and just few minutes from Rapolano Terme (Siena), a renewed place for its spa-sources and ancient travertine- quarries. With just 20 minutes you arrive to Siena, the cradle of art, history and tradition and with less than 10 minutes you enter the centre of “Chianti Classico”. The owners of La Lodola farmhouse are also the owners of Saletti farm (Castelnuovo Berardenga - Siena) in which they produce Extra Virgin olive oil D.O.P. “Terre di Siena” and wine “Chianti Classico”. They are both biological products (“di nicchia”) and they are unique for their purity, quality and value.

A Vineyard and olive grove plant will open, between the fragments of calcareous rock that reduce production to a minimum but gratifying it with absolute excellence. The family’s experience dating back to the 50’s with Bosco Messini, assisting with the persistent efforts of his daughter Deanna, tenacious and diligent personally inspects every phase of the work process. In the early 90’s after a careful grape vine selection, the company started producing and bottling “vino Chianti Classico” with the “Fornacino” label.
