The country house situated in a strategic position imparting an overwhelming panoramic view of the surroundings is also where the reception committee is located: The “Crete Senesi” (sienese clay), the hills of “Val d’Orcia”, the prodigious fortress of Radicofani, l’Amiata, the austere medieval tower of “celle sul Rigo” and San Casciano Bagni.
On the first floor, there are five sophisticatedly furnished suites; each one with a spacious double room, bathroom with hydro-massage bath shower and reading corner. The two swimming pools adjacent to the main house can be utilized by the adults and kids.
The old stables were torn down and a characteristic hamlet built instead, comprised of marvellous stand alone apartments with balconies and small flowered gardens that face a small piazza and the internal courtyard. The furniture crafted and created by local artisans keeping to the to the Tuscan and Sienese culture.
The apartments comprised of one or two double rooms, living room with fireplace, kitchenette, one or two bathrooms, linen and all the necessary accessories that a person requires when in a country home.
The restaurant located on the ground floor of the main house, where the atmosphere is purely rustic, the services is exceptional but yet, at the same time pleasant, savour the delights and the agricultural products of the Tuscan kitchen.
The spacious conference room decorated in exquisite Tuscan style furnishings; with 30 small flap chairs, large screen, projector and conference table. Choose between an auditorium or cda.
If you are an equestrian fan then “Il Poggio” is equipped with a natural equestrian course out in the country with diverse weekly courses, introduction stages or various equestrian discipline methods for beginners, endurance and obstacle jump, so come join our National and International showjumping cavaliers and instructors for a “jump” out.
