The farm holiday "Podere POGGIOBELLO" is found at 900 meters above sea level – on the slopes of Monte Amiata in Tuscany – completely renovated, immersed in an uncontaminated countryside surrounded by a splendid view running from the peak of Monte Amiata (1748 meters above sea level) to the Apennines, the Val d’Orcia and on to the sea, which, on clear days offers a view of the Island of Elba.
The farm holiday “Poggiobello" offers the chance to retreat in complete relaxation and isolation, to find the harmony of sensations in a natural countryside, inside around 20 hectares of the farm’s terrain: offering also with short trips in the car, the chance to visit the most beautiful places in Tuscany, such as Montalcino, Pienza, the thermal area of Saturnia and of Val d’Orcia. It’s a one hour trip from the sea of the Grossetana coast.
Starting out from the Agriturismo Poggiobello there are trekking and mountain-biking paths for immerging yourself in the amazing woods of Monte Amiata via paths from which one can see numerous floral and faunal species, comprised, in particular moments, of deer and wild boar in absolutely natural freedom.
The organization of a ceramics decorating class is available upon request
