The village Scansano has always been a destination for Italian and foreign tourists, thanks to its beauty . In the main place of the village, you will find one of the most traditional wine bars in Maremma, “L’Enoteca dei Mille”.
The wine bar, finely renovated, has been built on three levels and boasts a history of 5 centuries.
The environment is warm and cosy, full of details that remind you of the old tastes of Maremma.
The wine bar will offer you a wide choice of local and foreign wines from more than 700 vineyards. You can taste a lot of different types of the famous wine “Morellino di Scansano” and enjoy typical tastes of the region, like cold cuts of pork, wild boar and “Cinta Senese” pork. In addition to the famous “Morellino”, you can taste excellent bottles of Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano and Chianti. The wine bar will offer the finest palates 45 brands of Champagne, three of which have been directly selected and imported.

The nice and experienced Sommelier Michele, who was trained thanks to the association AIS (Italian Sommelier Association), will help you to discover a lot of Tuscan (and not) wines.
"L'enoteca dei Mille" will also offer you guided tastings in our family-run company, where you have the possibility to see our production process and enjoy our cheese. On demand, we will organize gastro-cultural visits to a wine company, with whom we collaborate, to the Etruscan site Ghiaccio Forte and the wine and Etruscan museums, situated in the old part of Scansano. A guide tour (Italian-English/Italian-French) will be at your disposal.
Our wine bar also organizes tastings for your special occasions, where you want (catering-service). We will offer the companies the possibility of organizing business lunches.
